Setting up Centres of Excellence in Palakkad - Elevate students' knowledge level to international level; enable transition to a more learner- centred environment; attract world class institutions to partner with Centres of Excellence; expose traditional skills and local knowledge to a global platform.

Academia - Industry Linking Platform - Build rapport between industry-academic institutions; organise workshops, hackathons, conferences to build industry-academia partners; offer consultant support faculty to industry; open a special placement cell for Palakkad.

Skill development centres - Across the district to improve the employability of the youngsters & Vocational education centres to train modernized, localized, and globalized technology with IIT Palakkad and other Higher Vocational Institutions as a Resource centre, in line with NEP 2020.

Community Learning Hub for children - Community learning hubs visualize a learning space that enhances and supports the learning process and environment to support the existing schooling system in a regular manner.
